World-wide delivery in 30 minutes or less

The Minuteman II control facility near Philip, SD has been preserved as it was at its decommissioning in 1993. Tours are available on the half-hour but you need to get to the visitor center early – the line forms at 7:30 AM, doors open for tickets at 8. We arrived at 7:59 and there were about 12 people ahead of us.

This was one of our favorite stops on a great trip.
One of the actual silos is 10 miles down the highway – the blast door has been rolled back and glassed over for a view of the rocket inside.
